Alif case study: fuel and time savings with Relog TMS

How fintech company Alif saves 20% on fuel costs and 220 logistics management hours per month

About the Company

Alif is the largest fintech company in Tajikistan. Founded in 2014, the company stands out for offering not only banking products but also a marketplace. Alif is now expanding into markets across Central Asia.

Before implementing Relog

Before implementing Relog, the company used its own logistics automation solution. One of the challenges was the lengthy manual route planning process. Planning 250–300 deliveries took at least two hours. Logistics managers complained that they often had to plan routes outside of working hours.

Another challenge was the lack of comprehensive reporting on employee performance. It was discovered that some drivers were inflating their mileage while actually driving fewer kilometers. They kept the unused fuel for themselves, resulting in losses for the company. The company needed a solution that would enable close monitoring of driver performance.

Further development of the company’s own product would have taken a year, so the team decided to look for a ready-made logistics automation solution. After thoroughly reviewing case studies and discussing the options with Relog’s managers, they chose Relog.

Results of Relog Implementation

Thanks to driver monitoring, the bank reduced its fuel costs by 20%. With Alif’s management gaining access to data on the number and delivery times of each driver, KPIs were introduced to measure driver performance.

Operators can now plan routes for 250–300 deliveries in just a few minutes instead of 2–3 hours. Thanks to Relog’s integration with the CRM, logistics managers can immediately see customer requests and start contacting them. They now reach out to 100–120 customers per day, compared with 70 previously. Reporting also helps track the time from the customer’s initial inquiry to request processing.

Relog’s reporting also covers courier performance: the average time spent on deliveries, the number of customers served by each courier and their average service time, as well as the distance traveled per day.

Customer service has improved thanks to SMS notifications with a link to track the driver and the option to leave feedback on courier performance.
